Do you have questions about the GDPR Information? At MultiSoft we value transparency and we wanted to tell you a little bit about what’s happening with GDPR and how we’re affected.

What is the GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation is a comprehensive data protection law that replaces the European privacy laws and strengthens protections on personal data. The GDPR is enforceable on anyone who operates in or provides services in EU member states beginning May 25th, 2018.

How does it affect us?

First, we’ve made some changes to our Privacy Policy in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We are striving to follow best practices on privacy protection, so we incorporated updates to our Privacy Policy to make it easier for you to understand and navigate in what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We are going to continue ensuring that your data is safe by introducing new security measures and communicating changes to our team and users. MultiSoft’s MarketPowerPRO software, as well as our internal processes and procedures, have been thoroughly reviewed to ensure our compliance and we have applied for certification by the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and should receive confirmation any day now.

What Web Technology is MarketPowerPRO using?

In relation to recent GDPR changes and requirements, we’ve received several questions about the technologies that we use in our MarketPowerPRO MLM Software. The most frequently asked questions revolve around HTTP and TLS versions.

MarketPowerPRO has been using the most current HTTP protocol, (HTTP 1.1) for several years and implemented TLS 1.2 in July 2016.
