MultiSoft strives to work with only the latest technologies and partners only with those making use of them. One of those technologies is truly randomized encryption keys based upon the power of lava lamps. Now, I know right now you’re thinking “this must be a joke” however, I assure you it’s the real deal.

In cryptography, one of the biggest issues is generating truly random combinations. Software is designed to try to simulate randomness, but since it’s programmed to do so, it can still potentially be predicted.

To counter that, in MultiSoft’s network, Cloudflare uses a live video feed of a wall of 100 lava lamps on display within their San Francisco headquarters office to generate a constant stream of random bytes. The information is then fed into a data center which uses the data to seed random number generators used to create encryption keys.
