Collection of information
MultiSoft Corporation collects information to provide better services to our users. We collect information in two ways:
- information you affirmatively choose to submit to us (such as your name, e-mail address, company name, title, country) for the purpose of accessing various downloads, viewing specific content, subscribing to MultiSoft newsletters, etc.;
- information we get from your use of our websites, such as the IP address, browser type, ISP, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, number of clicks, domain name and country/state of all visitors to the site; and
- location information: when you use MultiSoft’s websites, we may collect and process information about your actual location. We use various technologies and tools to determine location.
Use of information
MultiSoft treats your personal information as Confidential Information. We protect this confidential Information by storing it on secure servers that only select MultiSoft personnel have access to, and by encrypting it to help prevent access by any unauthorized parties.
Adherence to Privacy Shield Principals
MultiSoft ’s participation in the Privacy Shield applies to all personal data that is subject to theMultiSoft Privacy Statement and is received from the European Union, European Economic Area, and Switzerland.MultiSoft will comply with the Privacy Shield Principles in respect of such personal data. MultiSoft maintains an affirmative commitment to the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework and its principles, which will not be affected by our participation in the Privacy Shield. MultiSoft’s accountability for personal data that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, MultiSoft remains responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles unless MultiSoft proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
We encourage you to contact us should you have a Privacy Shield-related (or general privacy-related) complaint. For any complaints that cannot be resolved with MultiSoft directly, MultiSoft has chosen to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and comply with the information and advice provided to it by an informal panel of DPAs in relation to such unresolved complaints (as further described in the Privacy Shield Principles). Please contact us to be directed to the relevant DPA contacts. As further explained in the Privacy Shield Principles, a binding arbitration option will also be made available to you in order to address residual complaints not resolved by any other means. MultiSoft is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
